After many years of designing and planning, work started on Friday 31st May 2019 for the clubs new Changing Rooms and Hospitality facilities.

Planning permission was granted along with our Grandstand, Floodlights and Perimeter Fencing a few years ago, but it is only now, after achieving an FA  Football Stadia Grant, a grant from The Snodland Partnership and various donations and sponsorship from within the club and local community, that we have got to the position of  building work commencing.

This is a major step in the clubs history as it will make us totally self contained within the ground, satisfying all Southern Counties East Football League requirements. It will also enable the club to move forward in its ambition to reach a higher level in the national football pyramid.

Club Chairman, Dave Jeal, commented. “This is a momentous step forward in the clubs history and my grateful thanks goes to those within the club who put in a great deal of time and effort to achieve this moment. Thanks must also go to several supporters of the club who have also given time or donations towards this project.”

Currently there is no completion date but we will be keeping you updated on the progress of the build. Photos will appear below throughout the various stages of construction so that you can gauge how the project is progressing.

Project Update: 22 May 2021

Following our last report 2 to 3 weeks ago we have been busy progressing with the interior of the new hospitality area.

At the time of writing a second coat of paint was going on the bar walls and ceiling and it is hoped flooring will be fitted on 29th May.

There is still plumbing and electrical work to finish off but it is hoped to very soon have the place up and running. We are pleased that both Shepherd Neame and Coca Cola have agreed to supply our bar and we have appointed a Bar Manager.

Unfortunately we are experiencing delays in the supply of some materials and fixtures & fittings. This is a problem that it seems the whole country is suffering from as we come out of Covid. However we press on and look forward to welcoming everyone in to the new facilities in the very near future.
