Following their entry in to the Kent County Football League Division 3 for season 2017/18, Snodland Town Reserves gained promotion to Division 2 for 2018/19. They subsequently won promotion for the second successive season and will be playing in Division 1 for 2019/20.

Snodland Town FC are pleased to announce the appointment of manager Aaron McCall and assistant Ashley Stone as the Reserves management team for the coming season.

Kings Hill 4 – Snodland Town Reserves 2

The gap between Premier and Division One was not in evidence as the Reserves took high flying Kings Hill close in this cup tie. Manager Aaron McCall commented “It was just a case of running out of legs and a few errors late on that cost us. Having gone 2-0 up after 30 minutes we went in 2-1 up at the break with us even hitting the bar as well. We had a bright second half knowing Kings Hill would have to come at us. We kept the score to 2-1 until about 15 minutes from time when finally they got the equaliser. That sort of gave them the fire in their belly to go on and knock the stuffing out of us. But on a warm day with only one sub, overall I was pleased again with how we applied ourselves. Just a shame we couldn’t hang on to the win. But we will learn and move on again.”

Assistant Manager Ashley Stone added “If anything the one part that let us down was the fitness level and a bit of naivety crept in. The lads did really well against a side that are storming the premier division and we definitely held our own against them.”
